Moisturizing Bath Salts
This is my favorite bath salt recipe because it’s simple, but has it all: relaxing salts and moisturizing oil. My skin feels so soft after a soak with this mixture. I like to add lavender essential oil for calming aromatherapy.
Tools:
Measuring cups + Spoons
Bowl
Jar for storage
Ingredients:
2 cups Epsom Salt
1 cup Pink Himalayan Salt
1/2 cup Baking Soda
2 Tablespoons Sweet Almond Oil
Optional: Lavender Essential Oil or EO of your choice
Optional: dried flower petals
Instructions:
Combine your salts and baking soda in a large bowl. Use your hands and mix thoroughly. If you’re using essential oil, combine it with sweet almond oil and then add to the salt mix. Next you can add dried flower petals if you choose to do so.
Use your hands to mix everything up and then store in a jar for up to six months. To use, add one or two cups to a warm bath and enjoy!
Note: because this recipe includes sweet almond oil your bathtub may be slippery, so be cautious when getting in and out! Also make sure you strain the flower petals from the tub if you choose to use them.
I hope you enjoy these bath salts. Let me know if you make them.
Y’all be careful and I’ll holler at ya later.
